Lost Decade (Short Story from Anthology)

I think this was my third or fourth published story (you'd have to check my Goodreads or Amazon author page. They keep track of that stuff better than I do).  It's a nice credit, beautiful book cover, but kind of a throwaway story, to be honest. It's a "totally true story" that's not entirely true. What can I say? 
Up and coming writers were asked to write how we met the love of our lives.  (LGBT)
